Maddie’s love of music started young, fueled by Warped Tour tickets and a drawer of black eyeliner. With hands-on experience both managing and performing in a band, she knows the artist perspective firsthand, from late nights in dive bars to navigating the challenges of building a fanbase. A Music Business graduate from Belmont University, Maddie combines that lived experience with academic training to shape the future of fan engagement. At VERSE, she’s driven by one clear goal: restoring the human connection at the heart of live music and giving artists the tools to turn casual listeners into lifelong fans.
Growing up as a jazz piano player, Laz has immense passion for music and supporting artists’ success. In parallel, he has gained invaluable insights and knowledge about the entertainment industry, spending his post-college years working at a global sports consultancy firm, G2 Strategic. In his hometown of Portland, OR, he has been involved with organization of numerous live events, including being apart of the local team for Sofar Sounds. Leading our business development efforts, Laz brings a unique, dual perspective and a dedication to the prosperity of artists.
